We raised an amazing £250 for CAFOD World Gifts. Each class decided how they would spend their money raised. Class 1 have given goats and chickens, Class 2 have given two pairs of piglets, Class 3 have given a vegetable garden, water for a family and a school starter pack, Class 4 have given ducks, school starter pack and the gift of teaching someone to read. The staff also decided to not send christmas cards this year and have given a health kit and mother and baby care pack. Thank you for all the support in helping us raise such a fantastic amount and give the best christmas presents.
On Wednesday the St. Philip's Choir set out to the Metro Centre to entertain the shoppers. The choir sang carols and read parts of the Nativity Story, and finished off with some favourite Christmas songs! They drew quite a crowd and we're sure they spread a little Christmas cheer to all the shoppers.

Hello everyone,
We are the Peer Mediators. Our job is to make sure that everyone at St. Philips stays good friends. We have received special training from Gateshead Council so that we can help you and your friends solve any disagreements that you may have. If you have fallen out with one of your friends, let us know and we will work with you as a group to make sure that the problem is solved. You can let us know that you need our help by: standing at the peer mediation stop, by letting a buddy know or by putting a little note in the worry box which we check every play time.

Hello everyone,
We are the School Buddies. Our job is to make sure that everyone in the school yard is happy and has someone to play with. It is also our job to spot people who have fallen out and help them find a peer mediator to help them sort out their problems. You can spot us by the buddy caps that we wear at playtimes or you can stand at the buddy stop and one of us will come and help you.
