Sliding, climbing and digging were the order of the day for Class 1 on Thursday. Due to their fantastic attendance last term, they went for a trip to Clasper Towers. The rain stayed away and they had lots of fun on all the equipment. A big thank you to all our helpers who also enjoyed the trip!!! For more pictures go to the gallery.

It was an eggstravaganza in school for the Easter festivities! We had an eggstraordinary amount of decorated eggs and Easter Bonnets entered for the competitions. All the entries were amazing and a lot of work had been put into them. It was so difficult to choose the winners. Take a look into the gallery to see all the lucky winners and see some of the fabulous entries too! We also raised just over £400 from the Easter raffle and disco. So thank you to everyone for your generous contributions.

On Tuesday 27th March pupils from Years 3 and 4 were chosen to compete at St Thomas More against other schools in Gateshead in the multi-skills challenge. There was a total of 10 events. Look in the gallery to see the action! Everyone worked as a team and as a result we finished 1st!!!!! If that wasn't good enough, we also won the Fair Play Award too!! Well done to the team... wear those medals with pride!

On Friday 23rd March five of our pupils were chosen to compete with other children from the St Thomas More cluster in a Gateshead competition. There were many events and challenges! It was a great result - St Thomas More Cluster came 2nd out of the whole of Gateshead. We were very proud of our pupils who contributed to this win. Well done team!!
