Your Peer Mediators- Reminder
Back in September we reminded you about our School Peer Mediators and how they can help you! Heres another reminder of what they do, who they are and how they can help you!
Hello everyone,
We are the Peer Mediators. Our job is to make sure that everyone at St. Philips stays good friends. We have received special training from Gateshead Council so that we can help you and your friends solve any disagreements that you may have. If you have fallen out with one of your friends, let us know and we will work with you as a group to make sure that the problem is solved. You can let us know that you need our help by: standing at the peer mediation stop, by letting a buddy know or by putting a little note in the worry box which we check every play time.

Your School Buddies- Reminder!
Back in September we introduced you to your school buddies! Here is another reminder of who they are incase you need their help!!
Hello everyone,
We are the school buddies. Our job is to make sure that everyone in the school yard is happy and has someone to play with. It is also our job to spot people who have fallen out and help them find a peer mediator to help them sort out their problems. You can spot us by the buddy caps that we wear at playtimes or you can stand at the buddy stop and one of us will come to help you.

We are very proud to announce that our school was one of only three in Gateshead that scored 300/300 for 2008 SATS. Well done to the children who we hope are now working hard at St Thomas More! And thank you to the staff for supporting the children during their time at St Philip's.
