Chick Watch Update
Last night another three chicks hatched... And we've pulled another three names from the tin. The new chicks are called Cecilia, chosen by Mandy. Amy, chosen by Madison and Tweetie Pie, chosen by Sophie.
We have moved the chicks from the other eggs and put them into the Brooder Box, which has a light bulb, water tank and food for the chicks.
Welcome to St Philip's Cecilia, Tweetie Pie and Amy!

Good to see that the chicks are making good progress. I know it might be a silly question but what is the plan for the chicks once they get a bit bigger??? Will they go on to a farm or maybe one could stay as a resident ;0)

Wow what a fantastic website. It's great to see the children being involved in such an exciting project. Well done to all concerned.

Thank you for inviting us to visit your school to see your new chicks and to interview you for BBC School Report. You should be able to see the video soon on the Gateshead and BBC School Report websites. The chicks are really cute and the interviews were really good even though everyone was nervous.
