We would like to say how proud we all are of Mrs Fraser's Year 5 class. We were all moved by their wonderful production of 'The Stations of the Cross'. What a fabulous preparation for this weekend. Thank you Mrs Fraser for all your hard work!

Chick Watch Update
This is the last chance to see the chicks as they go to their home at Bill Quay Farm tomorrow. We are delighted that five of the eleven chicks hatched succesfully, and we've all thoroughly enjoyed having the chicks in our school.
We will be sad to see them go.

Chick Watch Update
Last night another three chicks hatched... And we've pulled another three names from the tin. The new chicks are called Cecilia, chosen by Mandy. Amy, chosen by Madison and Tweetie Pie, chosen by Sophie.
We have moved the chicks from the other eggs and put them into the Brooder Box, which has a light bulb, water tank and food for the chicks.
Welcome to St Philip's Cecilia, Tweetie Pie and Amy!

Roger and Albert!
This morning at school the first chick hatched. All of the children put names in a tin ready for the first chick to be born. When the chick hatched the name I chose, which was Roger, was pulled out. Another chick hatched later on and he was named Albert by Connor in Year 5. Welcome to St Philip Neri Roger and Albert!!!

Happy Habitats
We are studying habitats. We have a fish tank and an ant farm already. We decided to make a wormery. We went out in the school grounds worm hunting! We constructed our wormery and stocked it with the worms we found. They are quite at home.

A company called J.R Holland from the team valley supplied us with lots of different fruits to try. They gave us each a bag of fruit to take home. We're on our way to five a day!!

Asda Antics!
This term we went to Asda as part of our fruit-tastic topic. We looked at all the different varieties of fruit and vegetables. We even got to taste some. They were yummy!
