As part of our Lentern Alms giving we decided to support CAFOD to raise money so more people have access to clean water - over 884 million people don't. We all wore blue and took part in lots of water related events! Class 1 investigated all of the fun things we can do with water. In class 2 they saw how much water Miss Irving wasted cleaning her teeth! Classes 3 and 4 completed a water challenge to see if they could transport some water without dropping any! We also wrote to the Prime Minister to ask him to help provide clean drinking water for children not as lucky as us. We managed to raise an incredible £220! Thank you for your generosity. On the 10th February we were delighted to welcome Bishop Seamus Cunnigham to our school. He spent time with each class answering all our questions and queries. Some of us were even given the chance to try on his Zuchetto (skull cap). Then we all went to Church to celebrate mass with parents and parishioners.
